Why learn to drive with an instructor?

Learning to drive by taking driving lessons with a driving instructor as apposed to learning with a friend or family member (who must be over 21 and have held a full licence for three years) can be essential to ensure that you pass your test. An approved driving instructor (ADI) will know the exact techniques and methods that a driving test examiner will be looking for, and will be experienced in teaching these.
